Dr. Elisabeth Potter is a board-certified plastic surgeon renowned for her expertise in natural breast reconstruction. A graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Molecular Biology, she earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed her Plastic Surgery Residency at UT Southwestern, followed by a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Based in Austin, Dr. Potter has performed over 1,000 DIEP flap surgeries, offering patients implant-free breast reconstruction using their own tissue. A former FDA regulatory analyst, she brings a unique perspective to implant safety and is a vocal advocate for evidence-based alternatives. Outside the OR, she’s a devoted animal rescuer and proud dog mom to a lively pack of six.
