Dr. Julie Taylor is a well-known functional medicine and preventive medicine specialist and author of the national bestseller, The Hormone Manual: A Straightforward Guide For Every Woman at Every Stage of Life. She focuses on hormone optimization, gut health, inflammation, and toxic burden, and has been in private practice since 2014. She aims to restore health and wellness to her patients by treating the whole person. She sees patients—men and women of all ages—in her practice, where she emphasizes preventive medicine, reversing chronic disease, and finding the root cause of all symptoms. She works to restore health and remove the attention from medication to whole body healing. Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Taylor received her bachelors in biological sciences from the University of Washington and her medical degree from Michigan State University. She earned her master’s in public health and completed residency in preventive medicine at Loma Linda University. Upon finishing her residency program, she started her medical practice. Dr. Taylor is a keynote speaker and has been seen on NBC and Dr. Phil, and has been featured on NPR and numerous podcasts. When not seeing patients, she and her husband, Drew love spending time outdoors and traveling with their three children.
